Killarney
It is my great pleasure to introduce Peter and Iris Kienitz and their previously unmarketed Hunting Farm called Killarney, just South of the Etosha Conservancy and West of the Waterberg in the North of Namibia. Not that Killarney isn't an established location, its just that generally all availability has previously been taken by German and Eastern European Hunters, unti now!
Peter is the professional hunter, born and bred in Germany in a forester family who have been for generations in this business. Germany was too small for him and he always dreamt of conquering his "Kanaan". In 1992 he went for it and started working as a salesman in the hunting and weapons department of a well known company in Windhoek…..then started in the hunting and tour-guiding business with Fisherman Safaris.
Iris, also of German origin, came to Namibia in 1996 and built up her own travel agency and tour operation organization. It was originally called INJOKU, but nobody really could spell it so it was then changed to JOIN us in NAMIBIA.
Killarney is also an excellent venue for Huntresses as Iris is an accomplished stalker and Naturalist in her own right - and Gentlemen, let me assure you that hunting with a female Guide makes for a nice change of pace! Iris currently takes guests out on Photo Safari's and Game Drives and is a mine of information on the local flora and fauna for those looking for a greater depth of information!
